I am in a restart. A friend of mine has posted a meme with the graph showing where you start and where you end. Some days are up and some down but the trend is up. I currently feel like I am on a big upswing.

I can’t really explain it, but I feel lighter and “things” seems to be falling into place. This phenomenon is also affecting those around me. My eldest is starting an actual grownup job on Monday. He and his gal are looking at new apartments today. The middle one’s wife is expecting a new little one at the end of the year, joyful news. Our youngest just got a promotion, so he is feeling appreciated. I am still adrift jobwise, but that actually may be just fine. The world is sunny and warm.

I am continuing to reboot my routines. I did an AARP functional strength workout yesterday and I am WAY sore. I choose to believe that the workout was designed especially for me and not for octogenarians. I found a 30 day meal plan that I will work from, and I shopped. This morning I prepped little muffin-tin omelettes and lunch salads. Last night I went to knit night and tonight is bookclub- all is right and good. I’m planning a road trip and I’m thinking about future quilts.

A year ago Christmas (not the last one lol), the middle boy gave me a woodworking project to make a small box. I have been intimidated to even begin. The fear of failure. Todd does not yet know it- but tomorrow is the day. Let the sawing begin.
